Gateway Mortgage, a division of Gateway First Bank, is proud to announce its team member, Todd Binkley, has been recognized as a Top Veteran Originator by Scotsman Guide.

For the first year, Scotsman Guide highlights veterans who have also reached the top of their profession as mortgage originators. Taking information from its annual Top Originators rankings, Scotsman Guide has broken out veterans by Top Dollar Volume, Top Veteran Women, and top producers of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) loans.

“Freedom isn’t free, and we are acutely aware of that at Gateway. We support the military members who have made great sacrifices to protect our freedom,” said Scott Gesell, CEO at Gateway. “We are incredibly proud of Todd and are pleased to see him recognized for his hard work by Scotsman Guide.”

Gateway’s core purpose is to strengthen families and communities through homeownership. The company believes in supporting community development issues such as veteran support. In 2017, Gateway announced a national partnership with Folds of Honor. This non-profit organization provides educational scholarships to families of servicemen and women who have fallen or been disabled in combat. For every mortgage loan closed, Gateway commits $5 to Folds of Honor. Gateway has donated $270,540 to Folds of Honor in support of educational scholarships since the program’s inception in January 2018.
