JENKS, Okla., Dec. 10, 2018 – Gateway Mortgage Group, a full-service mortgage company licensed in 40 states and the District of Columbia, was named a 2018 Top Workplace by The Oklahoman. The honor is based on employee feedback gathered through a survey which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.

Gateway was one of just 80 organizations to make this year’s list, marking the company’s fifth time to receive this recognition.

“The award is especially meaningful as it was our employees who voted for us to be one of The Oklahoman’s Top Workplaces,” said Gateway CEO Stephen Curry. “Gateway team members go the extra mile every day. A third-party research partner, Energage, administered the survey. Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage, said becoming a Top Workplace is an organizational achievement that cannot be bought, only earned.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” Claffey said. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results.”

In addition to the honor, the survey results provide valuable insight to help managers boost employee productivity and engagement.

The Top Workplaces rankings were announced Dec. 9 in a special section of The Oklahoman.
