JENKS, Okla., Dec. 05, 2018 – Gateway Mortgage Group, a full-service mortgage company, announced it was among the Best Military Lenders and Originators by National Mortgage Professional Magazine.

National Mortgage Professional Magazine sought to honor military lenders based on three factors: total Veterans Affairs (VA) Loan units closed in 2017, support efforts and community outreach and the number of Mortgage Originators who submitted their nominations.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of the Best Military Lenders by National Mortgage Professional Magazine,” said Stephen Curry, CEO of Gateway Mortgage Group. “Our inclusion on this list recognizes our dedication to providing options that enable homeownership for the men and women who have bravely served our country in the U.S. military.”

In addition to the company’s recognition, Gateway employees Deborah Huddleston in Killeen, Texas and Mirta Hernandez in Universal City, Texas were selected as top loan originators by the magazine. Gateway closed over 1,600 VA loans in 2017 helping the country’s veterans get into new homes.

This year, National Mortgage Professional had hundreds of nominations of very qualified mortgage companies and professionals from all over the country. Alan Ferree, president of mortgages said he is honored to be recognized.
