TULSA, Okla., November 11, 2014 – Gateway Mortgage Group, a privately held mortgage company offering originations, servicing and correspondent lending, has hired Steve Frink as regional vice president where he will be responsible for retail production and expansion efforts in the Southeast region.
“I have always held a firm belief that companies should strive to find the very best people and provide them the support and resources needed to thrive in their career,” said Frink of joining Gateway. “At the same time, it is essential for highly accomplished mortgage professionals to seek an opportunity that matches them with a company that shares a common set of core values and a commitment to excellence.”
Previously, Frink was with BB&T for nearly 18 years where he successfully implemented and directed sales programs, managed more than 150 loan originators and their supervisors, and was responsible for mortgage production that helped BB&T grow their retail mortgage volume to a top five production level nationally. Frink said he is excited to join Gateway, as they are one of the fastest growing independent mortgage banking companies that deliver a best of breed platform across the board.
“Steve brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, high level of leadership and proven experience that will make an immediate impact to Gateway’s efforts in becoming a top 10 mortgage lender,” said G. Todd White, CMB, senior vice president of Gateway Mortgage Group. “He will be the catalyst for significantly growing our volume and success from Maryland to Florida.”
Gateway has grown to more than 60 offices in 20+ states and plans to continue expanding their Mortgage Center and originator salesforce nationally.
