Seguin, Texas (Feb. 21, 2019) – Gateway Mortgage Group, a full-service mortgage company licensed in 40 states and District of Columbia, presented a check to Folds of Honor for $6,365 today at the Seguin Public Library. Teresa Bowman, a Folds of Honor recipient, attended the ceremony and accepted the donation on behalf of Folds of Honor.

“I am honored to accept this generous donation on behalf of Folds of Honor,” said Teresa Bowman. “It is because of companies like Gateway we are able to continue to help the families of those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom and some the ultimate sacrifice.”

Gateway is committed to donating $5 for every mortgage loan closed through its retail locations. They currently operate more than 160 retail offices across the country. The company’s annual loan volume exceeded $6 billion in 2018, and its loan servicing portfolio eclipsed $18 billion.

“Freedom isn’t free, and we are acutely aware of that at Gateway,” said Bob Morris, regional vice president of Gateway Mortgage Group. “We’re proud to partner and serve with an organization that does so much for our country’s veterans and their families,” he added.
