Ada, Okla., (May 16, 2019) – Gateway Mortgage Group, a division of Gateway First Bank, one of the ten largest banks by assets in the state of Oklahoma and one of the largest mortgage bank operations in the United States, presented a check to Folds of Honor for $8,000 today at The Veterans & Military appreciation day at Chickasaw Business & Conference Center. Krysten Isenhower, from Folds of Honor Oklahoma Chapter, and Junghyeon Southard, a higher education scholarship recipient, attended the ceremony and accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.

Gateway is committed to donating $5 for every mortgage loan closed through its retail locations. They currently operate more than 160 mortgage centers across the country. The company’s annual loan volume exceeded $6 billion in 2018, and its loan servicing portfolio eclipsed $18 billion.

“Our core purpose at Gateway is to strengthen families and communities and Folds of Honor meets that obligation head on,” said Mark Revard, regional vice president. “We are proud to stand with Folds of Honor as they support the families of our service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our freedoms,” he added.

In 2018, Gateway funded more than $6.1 billion in residential mortgage loans while its servicing portfolio surpassed 100,000 customers and $18 billion. The company attributes its success to the hard work of its team members.
