Gateway Mortgage Group, a Division of Gateway First Bank Celebrates Folds of Honor Donation

Rapid City, SD (Jun 26, 2019) Gateway Mortgage Group, a division of Gateway First Bank, one of the ten largest banks by assets in the State of Oklahoma and one of the largest mortgage bank operations in the United States, presented a check to Folds of Honor for $9,295 today at The Journey Museum and Learning Center. Michelle Trahan, with Folds of Honor Speaker’s Bureau, attended the ceremony and accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.

Gateway is committed to donating $5 for every mortgage loan closed through its retail locations. They currently operate more than 160 mortgage centers across the country. The company’s annual loan volume exceeded $6 billion in 2018, and its loan servicing portfolio eclipsed $18 billion.

“One of our core values at Gateway is to strengthen families and partnering with Folds of Honor meets that obligation head on,” said Todd Lawler, regional vice president. “We pride ourselves on being a different kind of mortgage company, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to serve those who serve our country.”

In 2018, Gateway funded more than $6.1 billion in residential mortgage loans while its servicing portfolio surpassed 100,000 customers and $18 billion. The company attributes its success to the hard work of its team members. In fact, Gateway has been recognized twenty-six times as an industry leader including receiving the prestigious Hall of Fame accolade in 2018 from Inc. Magazine as one of the country’s fastest-growing privately held companies for the eighth time.
