JENKS, Okla., July 21, 2017  – Gateway Mortgage Group, founded by Kevin Stitt, has announced its first monthly donation to Folds of Honor. The $9,385 donation reflects the 1,877 loans Gateway closed in June. In May the company announced that it would donate $5 for every mortgage loan closed over a twelve-month period. These donations will go directly towards funding scholarships for spouses and dependents of wounded and fallen veterans.

“Freedom isn’t free, and we’re acutely aware of that at Gateway,” said Kevin Stitt, CEO of Gateway Mortgage Group. “We’re proud to partner and serve with an organization that does so much for our country’s veterans and their families,” he added.

“Our core purpose at Gateway is to strengthen families and Folds of Honor meets that obligation head on,” said Mark Revard, EVP of Gateway’s East Division. “The men and women who answer the call to serve in our military protect every family in this country, and we are honored to participate in a cause that protects our customers, employees and all others in America.”

June was the first month of Gateway’s partnership with Folds of Honor, which will run through May 2018 and is expected to generate donations in excess of $100,000. In 2016, the company funded more than 15,000 loans in its retail channel and is expected to surpass 20,000 new loans this year.
