Gateway Partners with Folds of Honor

Stand with Us as We Stand with Them

FREEDOM ISN’T FREE, and for those 1% who answer the call to defend the American freedoms we 99% enjoy, sometimes the ultimate price is paid. That 1 percent turns into 1 million disabled and fallen service members who have nearly 2 million dependents adversely affected by the consequences of war. Although the sacrifice our military families make can never be repaid, we can show our gratitude and offer our help.

Gateway will help champion the cause of Folds of Honor and has agreed to contribute to educational scholarships awarded to the families of fallen and disabled service members. Gateway is committing $5 for every loan originated and closed through our Retail sales channel. Gateway anticipates closing 20,000+ loans nationwide in 2017 so the final donation to Folds of Honor should eclipse the $100,000 mark. This donation will ultimately give the recipients hope and the opportunity to live the very future their service member fought to secure.

About Folds of Honor

Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled in combat while serving in the United States armed forces. Our educational scholarships support private education tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents. Founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard who served three tours of duty in Iraq, Folds of Honor is proud to have awarded more than 13,000 scholarships in all 50 states, as well as Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, including more than 2,800 in 2016 alone.
